Age Concerns in London
In London, Age Concerns have a collective income of circa' £16 million. They are based in each borough and employ nearly 1500 staff, many of whom are part-time. Thousands of older people participate in and receive services form Age Concern.
As an organisation operating at regional level we are committed to helping the capacity of all London's older people's organisations in responding to the needs of older people. ACL's emphasis is on strengthening the relationship of Age Concern London to all the Age Concerns in London and in particular increasing their effectiveness in the areas of fundraising, development and communication/ influencing.
