About Us
Age Concern London is a regional organisation within the national network of Age Concern Charities. All Age Concern charities are members of the Age Concern Federation which is based on agreed objectives and quality standards.
Age Concern London acts as the collective voice of Age Concerns in Londonby representing all of its London Age Concern members at regional level. Age Concern London and the London Regional Team, who are part of the National Age Concern Charity – Age Concern England, are working together to increase the regional capacity of Age Concerns in London.
There is at least one Age Concern Charity in every London Borough providing important and valued services to many thousands of older people – including information and advice on benefits and rights as well as care and other services. London Age Concerns are the main voluntary providers of support to older people in our city. Taken together, we are possibly London’s most significant charity employing hundreds of staff and thousands of volunteers.
